 SIZING

Featuring 4 thread seam stitching with 3-3.5 stitches per centimetre, PAOMP55 offer a much stronger seam strength compared to other brands. The 3-panel hood, elasticated wrist, ankle, face opening and waist provide an improved fit and additional comfort while the two-way auto-locking zippers allow easy access to clothing underneath. The Zip fastens to the underside of chin and the double layer storm flap offers extra protection. Available in sizes M-4XL they are ideal for hazardous work ranging from general trades, fibreglass work and insulation installation to healthcare, forensic and laboratory jobs.
To ensure a perfect fit and to guarantee maximum safety when working with hazardous substances, all Haydn Coveralls are available in a wide range of sizes:

Poorly sized and/or poorly designed garments can result in serious problems. Stress on the seams for instance can open up stitch holes, allowing ingress of harmful dusts or liquids. However mishandling the equipment and not following the correct steps while dressing in PPE or taking it off after the job can also leave you exposed to hazards.
Here are some key steps to make sure you stay safe on the job.

Handling PPE equipment properly

To keep your PPE gear working correctly the coveralls and additional equipment like gloves, facemasks and glasses need to be stored in clean condition in the original packaging in a dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of high temperature.

Putting the PPE on:

  • Check all items to ensure none are missing or damaged
  • Remove jewellery and watches
  • Put on the suit and zip it up to the hips
  • Put on the boots (or shoe covers depending on the hazard level)
  • Put on the filtering face mask and check it fits tightly over mouth and nose
  • Put on the safety glasses
  • Pull the hood of the suit over your head and zip up the suit until it is completely closed
  • To cover the chin and the zip, press the front flap into place
  • Put on the safety gloves and pull them over the cuff of the sleeves
  •

    Taking the PPE off:

  • First disinfect the safety gloves but do not remove them yet
  • Pull down the hood and pull the suit over the shoulders, turning it inside out down to the hips. At the same time, pull your arms out of the sleeves (a second person with safety gloves and a filtering face mask can help)
  • Take the suit completely off, removing the boots at the same time and place the items in a designated place to avoid decontamination
  • Remove the safety gloves by pulling them inside out
  • Remove the glasses by drawing them forward from the back and place them in the designated place
  • Remove the filtering face mask in the same way
  • Disinfect your hands and finish off by thoroughly washing your hands, face and any other contaminated areas of skin with water and a disinfectant lotion
  •

    Disposal

After use, the products must be disposed in accordance with respective rules and regulations depending on the hazard level of the undertaken application. The Coveralls, Face Masks, Shoe Covers and Gloves are only suitable for a single use.
