Chalked Protective Topcoat

The Rust-Oleum® Chalked Protective Top Coat is applied over top of Chalked Paints. It helps to protect against wear so is recommended for frequently used surfaces such as the top of a table. It also enhances the colour of the chalk paint. The top coat is more durable and easier to apply when compared to traditional furniture waxes. It also does not need to be reapplied. Use a high-quality synthetic brush to apply and avoid excessive brushing as this will reduce the thickness.

For best results

• Wipe painted surface with a clean rag. Wait at least 8 hours for base coat to dry first.
• Apply 1-2 even coats. Wait 2 hours between each coat.
