Rust-Oleum® Clear Shimmer Floor Topcoat is a professional-grade exterior/interior clear coating for concrete, ideal for garage, carport, driveway, basement, porch, patio, walkway, and pool deck use. It forms a glossy protective layer that is resistant to hot tyres, motor oil, grease, gasoline, UV exposure, weathering, fading, and peeling. Soap and water is sufficient for maintenance. Light foot traffic can resume in 3-4 hours, and vehicles can be driven upon in 5 days.
Note: not recommended for use on asphalt surfaces.
Ideal for
- Use over bare concrete or one-part floor paints (such as Rust-Oleum® Concrete & Garage Floor Paint + Primer)
- Garage, carport, driveway, basement, porch, patio, walkway, and pool deck
- Indoor and outdoor use
For best result
- Apply when air temperature is between 10-32°C and the relative humidity is below 85%
- Apply with a high quality 3/8” nap roller (9.5mm so 9-10mm nap roller) and extension pole
- Maintain wet edge to prevent gloss differences and lap marks
- Only one coat is necessary, however if second coat is desired, wait 4 hours and apply perpendicular to the first
