Trevor Haydon awarded for tremendous service to the NZ Painting and Decorating industry.

Last month Trevor and Sue Haydon attended the Master Painters New Zealand conference held in Noosa, Australia. This was well represented by a large number of members celebrating recognised achievements in the New Zealand painting industry.
During the final evening, Trevor was thoroughly surprised and felt extremely honoured to be awarded an honorary Master Painters Association life membership in recognition of continued tremendous service to the New Zealand painting and decorating industry. The award was presented by Mr Brian Miller, CEO of the Master Painters New Zealand Association Inc.

During Trevor’s acceptance speech he thanked all the members for their support over many years, indicating without this support their company would not be where they are today.

Trevor and Sue would like to take this opportunity to thank the New Zealand Master Painters for their invite to attend a very well organised event with a perfect location along with first-class hospitality.
They both enjoyed the chance to meet up with all the MPA attendees which involved a mixture of business, social events and networking to discuss new ideas.
One of the highlights of the conference was the outstanding practical work completed by this year’s apprentice finalists during the function. With the high calibre of these young people, our painting industry will be in excellent hands for the future.
Congratulations must go to all category finalists and category winners for a job well done.

We look forward to catching up again next year.
